Dahab
Egypt
“Red Sea nomad haven — world-class diving, windsurf paradise, Bedouin vibes, desert meets sea”
Once a Bedouin fishing village on the southeast coast of the Sinai Peninsula, Dahab became a hippie destination in the 1980s and is now one of the world's top diving locations. The Blue Hole, a 130m-deep underwater sinkhole just offshore, is both legendary and notorious among freedivers. The town sits between the Red Sea's coral reefs and the dramatic mountains of the Sinai desert.
