Buenos Aires
Argentina
“Paris of South America — tango, steak, café culture, vibrant arts scene, growing nomad hub”
Founded twice — in 1536 and again in 1580 — Buenos Aires became the capital of the Viceroyalty of the Rio de la Plata in 1776 and was the port through which millions of European immigrants entered Argentina. Its neighborhoods each have distinct characters, from the colorful La Boca to the elegant Recoleta. The city is the birthplace of tango and home to the legendary Teatro Colon opera house.
