Siargao

โSurfing capital โ Cloud 9, island hopping, coconut palms, laid-backโ
A tear-drop shaped island in the Philippine Sea, Siargao is known as the 'surfing capital of the Philippines' for its Cloud 9 wave, which has hosted international competitions since 1995. The island is fringed by the largest mangrove forest in Mindanao and surrounded by stunning rock pools, coconut palms, and idyllic islets. It remained largely off the tourist radar until the 2010s.
