Tamarindo
Costa Rica
โSurf town paradise โ Pacific sunsets, yoga retreats, laid-back beach vibes, wildlife encountersโ
Once a quiet fishing village on Costa Rica's Guanacaste coast, Tamarindo has grown into one of Central America's most popular surf towns. Playa Grande, just north, is one of the world's most important nesting sites for the endangered leatherback sea turtle. The area was inhabited by the Chorotega indigenous people before Spanish colonization and retains a distinctly Pacific tropical character.
